UV / water parameters

Today i connected the UV-waterclearer (4*34watts from Deltec), its running fine. Yesterday, i added some PO4/Silicate absorber (Rowaphos) and some Active-Carbon? (Grotech) to further reduce PO4/Silicate/rest of glue and whatever chemicals from building the system. A light brown film of algae is starting to cover the rocks, thats normal in this state. The carpenter was here today and did the cladding. Looks a lot better. Water parameters are doin’ well.

Der Tischler war heute hier und hat die Verkleidung angebracht. Hübsch ;). Die Wasserwerte entwickeln sich prima.

Today i received about 660 pound of Living Rock from Sulawesi. Together with Michael, we put them into the tank (nice way of stacking the stone-plates, he has). first tests

I filled tapwater in the tank and ran it for some days with all equipment. Some dripping pipes are glued together and not dripping anymore ;-). What else to say… This final test ran OK!
I will remove the water tomorrow (watering the garden) and glue some PVC in the tank to later fasten the rocks […]
